In the vast unknown of space, there’s a rogue planet that used to belong to an advanced civilization. But now, it’s been taken over by Tastrion, a super powerful mutagen. The last hope for humanity is a gunship called “Desolazor” from the space colony Ginsaria 9. It’s armed with a powerful weapon to fight and wipe out the infestation before it spreads across the galaxy.

Tastrion is a Shoot ‘Em Up game inspired by classic 90’s games like Gradius, Arrow Flash, and Gleylancer. You have four buttons and three types of shots: Photon lasers, Ion spread, and a rail gun. There’s also a super powerful solar-powered bomb. You can upgrade your weapons and ship by picking up upgrades during missions, making your ship a total destruction machine.

The game has six stages, twelve bosses, five secret rare power-up containers, and a super difficult secret stage. It’s single-player mode only, but you can upgrade your weapons up to eight times. The music is dark-synth and industrial-themed, giving the game a cool retro-future vibe.

Tastrion is like a modern version of those awesome 16-bit 90’s shmup games.

The trailer might not show everything that’s in the final game, so there might be some differences in enemy placements and stage details when it’s released. There are also plans for future updates and additions to the game.

You can play Tastrion with Xbox or Playstation controllers, but it’s mainly designed for Xbox users. The game was created using SHMUP Creator, a cool tool for making Shoot ‘Em Up games.
